Art and the Brain at the University of Cambridge

CIRHUS's Randall White and his colleague Raphaëlle Bourrillon (Université de Toulouse 2 - Jean Jaurès) presented their groundbreaking work on Paleolithic art at the Art and the Brain: How Imagery Makes us Human conference at the University of Cambridge on December 7-8. Their paper entitled, Aurignacian engraved imagery: new discoveries and experimental understandings from the Vézère Aurignacian was part of an interdisciplinary discussion between archaeologists, neurophysiologists and artists to develop current understandings and interpretations of non-verbal communication in prehistory.
